Quote from the Photo page "You look too damned Agreeable" came with an English accent.

I was making acting rounds in New York at the time and getting some interviews, a few auditions and lots of rejections. My agent told me he had gotten me an interview for a film called The Klansman.
I wrote down the particulars and got to the casting office ahead of time. I was heartened by what I saw, or maybe I should say what I didn't see, there were no long lines of actors waiting around. It wasn't a cattle call.
The receptionist said there was not a casting director involved, that the director would be conducting the interview. Another good sign, I thought.
A short time later I was called into another office and introduced to Terence Young, a tall pleasant looking fellow. We shook hands and I gave him my pictures and resume.
He asked me to take a seat and we chatted for several minutes about my background and resume. Then he got very quiet and after a while he finally shook his head. "Actually there are a couple of roles you could play but," then he grinned and chuckled, "You look too damned agreeable."

On the negative side it was another rejection. On the positive I had just been interviewed by one of the premier directors of our time. Of course I didn't get the job, but Terence Young  handled the interview with such class that the sting of rejection was lost in the moment.
Terence Young directed several of the early James Bond films:
Dr. No, From Russia With Love and Thunderball.
Among people in the know, it is said that Young was the model used to fashion 007.
